De troef van de FiiO K9 is de THX AAA 788+ versterker, deze geeft een buitengewone 1% onvervormd vermogen tot 780mW op 300ohm en tot 2W op 32ohm. Het maakt niet uit of je een hoofdtelefoon met lage impedantie of hoge impedantie gebruikt, de K9 zal hem met aplomb aansturen.
